Boston BlueTech Networking Night
Connecting People, Ideas, and Opportunity
TMA BlueTech invites you to join us for a relaxed Boston BlueTech Networking Evening, bringing together people working across ocean technology, maritime industries, research, workforce development, and related fields.
This gathering is intentionally informal and conversational. Rather than a formal program, the goal is to create space for people who care about the Blue Economy to meet, share perspectives, and begin identifying where stronger collaboration could make a difference.
New England has deep expertise across maritime and ocean related sectors, but many people working in this space rarely have the chance to connect outside of their immediate networks. This event is an opportunity to start closing those gaps in a low key, welcoming setting.
Why We Are Gathering
TMA BlueTech is exploring how it can support stronger connections between New England and other leading BlueTech regions, including Southern California. Before launching new programs or initiatives, we want to listen, learn, and better understand the needs and priorities of the local community.
Topics likely to come up include:
Where collaboration between organizations could be stronger
Common challenges moving ideas from research to real world use
Workforce and talent needs across maritime and ocean industries
Opportunities to connect regional efforts with national initiatives
There is no expectation to arrive with answers. This is about starting the conversation.
What to Expect
Casual Networking
An open, friendly environment to meet others working in or around the Blue Economy.
Light Structure
A brief welcome and framing from TMA BlueTech, followed by informal discussion.
Shared Context
An overview of how TMA BlueTech supports collaboration in other regions and what we are hoping to learn in Boston.
Who Should Attend
This event is open to anyone interested in ocean technology, maritime industries, research, workforce development, or related policy and investment topics. Whether you are part of an established organization or just beginning to explore this space, you are welcome.
Looking Ahead
This gathering is part of a gradual effort to build stronger relationships and understanding within the New England BlueTech community. Future activities will be shaped by the people in the room and the ideas that emerge from these conversations.
Join us for a relaxed evening of conversation, connection, and community building.
Come for the conversation, stay for the connections, and help shape what comes next.
