2026 Trade Mission to Singapore and Indonesia

TMA BlueTech will lead a curated delegation of 10 United States maritime technology companies to Singapore and Indonesia from April 19 to April 29, 2026, as part of a federally supported export initiative delivered in partnership with the U.S. Commercial Service. The mission provides structured, high level access to port authorities, government agencies, commercial partners, and innovation ecosystems, aligning Singapore programming with Singapore Maritime Week and focusing Indonesia engagements on Jakarta, Batam, and Surabaya.

Designed for companies in areas such as maritime security, ocean data systems, marine autonomy, infrastructure modernization, decarbonization, and coastal resilience, the mission includes embassy briefings, curated matchmaking, site visits, lodging, and on the ground support. Participation is limited to 10 companies and reflects TMA BlueTech’s ongoing role in accelerating international market entry for U.S. maritime innovators through a highly coordinated, outcomes driven format.

Drawing on years of making high-stakes scientific decisions with incomplete or messy data, she now advises founders, investors, and senior operators through her practice, Clarity & Movement, on what she calls structured judgment. In her talk, Reading the Water: What Environmental DNA Taught Me About Making Decisions in the Dark, she connects lessons from freshwater reservoirs and atmospheric biodiversity sensing to the realities of boardroom decision making when the signal is weak, but action cannot wait.

TMA BlueTech highlights an upcoming international webinar from MSE International and the European Space Agency exploring how Earth Observation and in situ data are advancing high resolution metocean forecasting and seabed mapping. These capabilities directly reinforce TMA’s Ocean Intelligence pillar and activate space and satellite applications as critical sensing and data layers within the maritime domain, with clear implications for maritime defense, coastal security, and infrastructure awareness.

TMA is also an active participant in ESA’s Maritime Sustainability Task Force, further strengthening transatlantic collaboration at the intersection of satellite applications, maritime innovation, and operational sustainability.

Many thanks to Dr. Christina Connett Brophy, President and CEO of the Maritime Museum of San Diego for graciously offering the venue to our group!  We plan to hold the main presentation aboard the Steam Ferry Berkeley, and then afterwards, we will move over to the Star of India for the "after party" to continue our networking and conversations about all things that are ocean and tech related.  Dr. Connett Brophy will also be one of our main presenters for this event.

In addition, we will have Greg Murphy, Coastal Resilience Lead at Fugro, giving us a technical presentation about his and his company's ventures.  Greg is also on the Board of Directors for the Maritime Museum, so we have a lot of content overlap for this event - history and future BlueTech come together!
