BlueTech Week is all about the companies and the people driving the sustainable Blue Economy. It's the annual event where hundreds of senior international participants collaborate and innovate on our toughest water and ocean challenges. This year BTW2022 will once again be held in-person in San Diego at Liberty Station, Scripps Institution of Oceanography and around-town!
Both BlueTech Week 2020 and 2021 were held online to cater to our international audience without compromising the safety of our attendees through international travel. In 2022 we are thrilled to announce the BlueTech Week will once again be in-person in "America's Finest City", San Diego!
This year’s specific areas of focus include Applied Ocean Solutions, Aquaculture/BioMarine, Maritime Robotics, Offshore Renewable Energy, Water/Wastewater and Smart-Ports and Shipping.
Consisting of several live sessions and meet ups over 5 days, #BlueTechWeek 2021 attracted 540 participants from 30 countries, 162 presenting companies and leading experts from academia, finance, government, and industry.
BlueTech companies and academic researchers have developed technologies to monitor and observe the earth's natural systems and are responsible for having developed our understanding the environmental challenges we face.
We believe that BlueTech will also provide the critical solutions to help address these problems and foster a sustainable Blue Economy.
BlueTech Week connects a sustainable Blue Economy globally year-after-year.
