Indonesia Exploring U.S. Partnerships for Maritime Modernization

A Featured Event of the USTDA Indonesia Reverse Trade Mission. Co-Hosted by TMA BlueTech and AltaSea at the Port of Los Angeles. With Outreach Support from Braid Theory

An Exclusive Opportunity to Connect with Indonesia's Maritime Decision-Makers

Join senior representatives from Indonesia's government agencies, port authorities, maritime security organizations, logistics companies, and infrastructure leaders for an exclusive forum focused on building commercial partnerships with Southern California's maritime innovation ecosystem.

Unlike a traditional networking event, this forum is designed to maximize meaningful business engagement through advance preparation, targeted technology presentations, and facilitated introductions.

Why This Event Is Different

Before the event, participating companies will receive a Delegate Briefing Book introducing the Indonesian organizations attending and outlining the technologies, capabilities, partnerships, and business opportunities they are actively seeking during their U.S. visit.

Rather than arriving with little context, attendees will have the opportunity to review the delegation's priorities in advance, identify the organizations most relevant to their business, and prepare for productive conversations.

During the forum, delegates will briefly introduce their organizations and summarize these priorities before meeting individually with participants during the networking reception.

  • Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia

Technology Solutions Showcase

One of the featured elements of the program will be the Technology Solutions Showcase.

Following review of the delegation's stated priorities, five to six Southern California companies will be selected to deliver concise five-minute presentations demonstrating technologies and capabilities that directly address Indonesia's identified needs.

This is not a traditional company pitch session. Each presentation will be selected because it offers a potential solution to one or more priorities identified by the delegation before the event.

Selected companies will have the opportunity to:

  • Present directly to senior Indonesian decision-makers.

  • Demonstrate technologies aligned with identified modernization priorities.

  • Position their organizations for future pilot projects and commercial partnerships.

  • Continue conversations during the networking reception.

Technology Showcase participants will be selected based on:

  • Alignment with the delegation's stated priorities

  • Commercial readiness

  • Potential for partnership or deployment in Indonesia

  • Ability to clearly communicate their value proposition in five minutes
