This gathering brings together ocean innovators, engineers, founders, and collaborators for an evening where advanced science, real world application, and community converge.

This month’s agenda is a special one: the Winners of the Marine Technology Society (MTS) Student Science Fair will kick things off by presenting their projects. We introduced this format last year, and the students impressed us with both their innovative technologies and engaging presentations. It’s always inspiring to see the next generation pushing the boundaries of science.
Our main presenter will be Dan Wolfson, and his presentation is about a San Diego startup called Poseidon AmphibWorks that is building the world's first highway-legal electric hydrofoiling "Boat-Car" amphibious vehicle. Marine-oriented businesses like kelp farms, wave power, ocean researchers, etc., could drive these from their land-based facilities into the water and back.

4:30pm: Arrival time if you want to see the student presentations. Student presentations will begin as soon as everyone is ready.
5:30pm: Arrival and networking, order food/drinks for yourself.
6:15pm: OES and other hosting group announcements
6:20pm: Main Presentation by Dan Wolfson of Poseidon AmphibWorks.
6:40pm (approximately): “open mic” for any other attendees to present anything they like (ocean-related, of course).
Attendees are invited to share brief updates, opportunities, or ideas with the community. This may include job opportunities, personal introductions, internships, upcoming events, funding needs, or demonstrations of new technologies.
Please keep remarks to a maximum of 3 minutes. Those interested in a longer presentation are invited to inquire about future featured speaker opportunities.
7:00 PM onward: enjoy some drinks and chatting with fellow oceanic engineering enthusiasts.
