San Diego BlueTech Networking Event

  • Quantum Brewing 5375 Kearny Villa Road San Diego, CA, 92123 United States (map)

Join TMA BlueTech, MTS and IEEE for a special edition of our monthly BlueTech Networking Meetup, hosted at our longtime community home, Quantum Brewing. This gathering brings together ocean innovators, engineers, founders, and collaborators for an evening where advanced science, real world application, and community converge.

Featured Presentation: Danielle Muller

TMA BlueTech is pleased to welcome Danielle Muller as our main presenter this month. Danielle will share insights into Southern California Coastal Ocean Observing System - SCCOOS, and its role in advancing public-private partnerships across the coastal and maritime ecosystem.

SCCOOS is a science-based decision support system that provides the data and information needed to address critical coastal challenges. As one of 11 regional systems within the U.S. Integrated Ocean Observing System, SCCOOS plays a vital role in connecting science, operations, and real-world decision-making across Southern California.

Danielle brings a uniquely well-rounded perspective shaped by a lifelong career on and around the water. Her experience spans ocean science, ecotourism, education and outreach, and the maritime industry. Boats have taken her throughout the Bahamas, Turks, Cuba, Caribbean, Canada, Mexico, and the US West Coast. Curiosity has fueled her career as a dive instructor, sailing instructor, captain, marine biologist, and education director, and now serves as a program coordinator at SCCOOS. Her work reflects a deep commitment to translating ocean data into meaningful applications that support industry, communities, and the environment.
