New England is one of the most capable and competitive maritime regions in the world.
Its depth across defense institutions, ocean intelligence research, maritime trades, and advanced ocean technology companies represents a significant strategic advantage.
The opportunity now is alignment.
On March 25, TMA BlueTech and Massachusetts Maritime Academy convene regional leaders for a focused working session exploring how stronger cross region coordination between the Northeast and San Diego can accelerate real world deployment across maritime defense adjacent innovation, ocean data systems, and workforce pathways.
This is not a panel event and not a pitch forum. It is a structured dialogue designed to examine where coordination can reduce friction, where cross coast collaboration creates tangible value, and how near term pilots or demonstrations can unlock measurable progress.
As maritime security, autonomy, and ocean intelligence evolve, regional competitiveness increasingly depends on the ability to operate as part of a broader national and trans coastal architecture.
This session will explore
Where deployment slows in competitive ecosystems
Where cross coast collaboration meaningfully accelerates outcomes
How workforce pathways align with real employer demand
What pilots or validation efforts could unlock progress in the next twelve months
