Boston SOUTH SHORE BlueTech Networking Event
TMA BlueTech and the Atlantic Resiliency Innovation Institute (ARII) invites you to join us for a relaxed BlueTech Networking Evening, bringing together people working across ocean technology, maritime industries, research, workforce development, and related fields.
This gathering is intentionally informal and conversational. Rather than a formal program, the goal is to create space for people who care about the Blue Economy to meet, share perspectives, and begin identifying where stronger collaboration could make a difference.
Please RSVP below, it helps us with planning
Why We Are Gathering
TMA BlueTech is exploring how it can support stronger connections between New England and Southern California. Before launching new programs or initiatives, we want to listen, learn, and better understand the needs and priorities of the local community.
Atlantic Resiliency Innovation Institute is the parent organization and home for The Coastal Hazard Lab (CHL) & Coastal Academy (CA). ARII’s mission is empower coastal communities through research and education and to bring to market the next generation of coastal hazard mitigation solutions.
Topics likely to come up include:
Where collaboration between organizations could be stronger
Common challenges moving ideas from research to real world use
Workforce and talent needs, across maritime and ocean industries
Opportunities to connect regional efforts with national initiatives
There is no expectation to arrive with answers. This is about starting the conversation.
What to Expect
Casual Networking
An open, friendly environment to meet others working in or around the Blue Economy as well as an opportunity to learn more about Atlantic Resiliency’s Academy and Lab programs.
Light Structure
A brief welcome and framing from TMA BlueTech and ARII, followed by informal discussion.
Who Should Attend
This event is open to anyone interested in ocean technology, maritime industries, research, workforce development, or related policy and investment topics. Whether you are part of an established organization or just beginning to explore this space, you are welcome.
Looking Ahead
This gathering is part of a gradual effort to build stronger relationships and understanding within the New England BlueTech community. Future activities will be shaped by the people in the room and the ideas that emerge from these conversations.
Join us for a relaxed evening of conversation, connection, and community building.
Come for the conversation, stay for the connections, and help shape what comes next
