‍TMA BlueTech is one of the oldest and largest global BlueTech clusters and international collaboration is in our DNA. We are a proud cofounder and member of the BlueTech Cluster Alliance, which includes 10 leading BlueTech clusters from 8 countries. We are a BlueTech industry association at our core and it is innovative technology and services from our members and our cluster partners that are allowing us to understand and address ocean and water problems globally. We believe that BlueTech clusters are critical to protecting the ocean and scarce water resources by creating regional Blue Voices to focus on the Triple Bottom Line (“People, planet & profit”).

It is our collective responsibility to find solutions to challenges facing the ocean and water resources. We support the “UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” – a plan of action for people, planet and prosperity that was adopted unanimously at the UN in 2015. A critical part of the 2030 Agenda is the 17Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). During BTW2019 we focused on four SDGs – SDG6: CleanWater & Sanitation; SDG7: Affordable & Clean Energy; SDG14: Life below Water; andSDG17: Partnerships for the Goals.
