California Water Tech Trade Mission to Mexico

What is this Mission?

The California Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) is planning an in-person water-focused trade mission June 4-9, 2023. California companies with a vested interest in water reuse and water infrastructure projects are invited to join the delegation to showcase cutting-edge technology that is currently needed for a series of recently announced infrastructure projects in BajaCA and Baja CA Sur. GO-Biz will work with the State of Baja CA, Baja California Sur, the U.S. CommercialService, and TMA BlueTech to arrange a series of business meetings for California companies to meet with Mexican government officials and the Mexican private sector overseeing a series of infrastructure projects throughout Baja Norte and Baja Sur.

Mission Details:

Dates: June 4-9, 2023

Locations: Tijuana, La Paz, and San Jose del Cabo

Cost: $250 per company, limited to two company representatives

  • Does not include lodging, air travel, select meals

Event Format: Combination of group presentations, group site tours, and one-on-one meetings. Simultaneous translation will be provided during the entire program

Who Should Participate: California businesses with solutions related to water sourcing, storage, treatment, sanitation, distribution, and disposal, and desalination technologies.

Participation Benefits: California companies will have the opportunity to meet with key decision makers and potential partners to showcase cutting edge technology, address considerations and solutions, share best practices, and gain an understanding of the legal and financial aspects of investing in water infrastructure in Mexico.

Registration

Participation Eligibility Requirements:

  • Organized as a for-profit business
  • Organized or incorporated in the U.S.
  • Registered to do business in California and in good business standing
  • Majority California operations (or must demonstrate sizeable CA footprint)

Registration Process:

  1. STEP 1: Register your interest here (one registration per company)
  2. STEP 2: GO-Biz will review your reg. of interest and confirm company eligibility
  3. STEP 3: GO-Biz will provide you a link to pay the $250 fee and register up totwo company representatives
  4. STEP 4: Book your hotel and airfare (recommendations will be provided)
  5. STEP 5: Prepare for travel, ensure passports are valid, etc.

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
